Recipes herbal foot pampering for busy moms
As a mother, I would be remiss in my feet, as it was simply not over my list of things to do. Now, after a long day hunting guys, I hope, 20-30 minutes to spoil me with some necessary foot care.
To shorten the time, I keep a plastic receptacle in my linen closet filled with supplies needed to run the following recipes. Apart from low cost ingredients, I want to keep towels, sponges, loofah, foot files, pumice and lotion feet in the bucket so I prepare everything they need to go. I recommend buying a plastic bowl at your local pharmacy if you something to soak your feet in. You can brew these recipes in just minutes.
Lavender Milk Soak
6 cups water
2 cups milk
4 tablespoons dried lavender
In a large glass bowl, combine water, milk and lavender. Microwave for 1 minute until the mixture is hot. Pour into a container and soak your feet in it for 15 minutes. Rinse and dry.
Almond Scrub Sea Salt
3 cups of sea salt
1 cup Epsom salt
8 ounces of water
2 oz almond oil
Combine ingredients in a medium bowl. Use a plastic spoon to measure what you need. Rub sea salt on both heels feet for 3-5 minutes. Rinse warm water. Wipe with a cotton cloth and followed up with a moisturizing lotion gently walk.
Soothing Bath Oatmeal
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup milk powder
1 / 2-3 / 4 cup oatmeal
Combine all three elements in a blender and stir until smooth. Fill up half full with warm water basin and add the mixture of rolled oats. Soak feet for 10-15 minutes. Wipe dry with a towel and apply a moisturizing lotion foot.
