Weaning your baby on solid

Once your baby has completed its fourth month you can start weaning him strong. A couple of signs your baby will show when you're ready to start solids are:

1. He began to drink less milk.

2. It feels his lips when he sees you eat.

You do not want to leave no later than six months, it will be harder for the baby to learn to coordinate taking food into the mouth and swallowing because he is too used to suck.

Do not give your baby solids before the end of four months, because the digestive system is ready and can create unnecessary problems. I hear older women as mothers new to add rice powder the ultimate source of the night for the baby to sleep the night before the baby is 4 months old. Please no!

Preparation Food

• Place a teaspoon of baby rice in a bowl

• Add a little boiling water

• Stir the mixture until smooth

• Take a plastic spoon (I find the spoons from KFC are ideal and reduction of costs)

Prepare the child.

• Try to feed baby before bathing as it can be quite complicated.

• Put on a chair to make it very favorable.

• Give once a day until you are ready for more.

• No need to sterilize the containers and a spoon. Just normal washing is sufficient

• Allow put on bib before starting.

• Take a little of the mixture on the tip of the spoon

• Put it in the baby's mouth

• The baby will make a funny face is the typical reaction of the first spoonful

• baby food will not be like adults but try to suck as if drinking from a bottle

• Being a new experience baby will not know how to swallow, but the dribble food. Do not worry if the food continues to lose, just continue to scoop back in the mouth

• If the baby is very active, you can hold by placing a hand on hands and body

• Be patient and do it slowly

• If the baby starts crying and refusing to eat, stop and try again one day later

• If you want to let him finish food

• Continue Food and excavation there until he finishes

• Give him some water from a bottle after he has finished feeding

If baby likes his solids, continue with a teaspoon per day for one week and then increase Two teaspoons of next week and slowly increase your appetite. Please note that this small amount does not replace flow of milk. After he has finished eating and took his bath give him his normal milk feed but if you can not last, do not force it. As the amount of solid increases intake you can reduce the amount of milk accordingly but only solid food eventually replace.

After one month White rice powder, then add vegetable powder, and if there are signs of allergies can be used other flavors of the food ready dining. You can also try to increase to 2 meals per day. I think that before six months is more convenient to use food as a number of Packages that eating is too small to justify the time and energy for cooking.

Six months later, you can start doing the dishes house for him. Whatever you cook will depend on whether you want to offer Western-style cuisine or Oriental. Personally, I find it easier to offer Chinese cuisine or local can put in the meat, rice and vegetables in a saucepan until the child is older and has teeth to chew other types of food. Therefore, it will focus on teaching to cook porridge for baby. It seems more interesting least for adults. Please do not mix the jam. Dar blended food for too long, it will be difficult, so the baby learns to eat adult food, which can be introduced from 10 months. If you think porridge is too lumpy safety can with the back of a spoon. Do not give baby porridge overnight as it can cause a lot of wind.

It is easier to cook the soup in a pot slow cooker and it takes about 4-5 hours to get ready. Time to start cooking depends on what time your child wants to eat.

• Set hot water the pan and add vegetables. Cook enough for 2 meals

• After one hour add the washed rice (about 1 handful)

• When the rice grains have opened (usually about 1 h), add the meat

• If you use fish add one hour before noon as fish cooks very quickly.

What do you put in the soup?

Meat and fish

Always boil the meat for a couple of minutes to remove scum before adding to the slurry. The bones will give extra flavor and sweetness. Leave a little fat so that you can remove the vitamins soluble in oats.

The pig is "neutral" and therefore can not be used frequently. The use of ribs or bones, that extension of sweetness to the porridge.

The chicken is "heaty one or two times a week is fine. If your child has a cough that does not because it makes the cough worse.

The beef is "heaty and the smell can be strong if you use too.

The lamb is very "Heaty and the smell is strong enough that you do not use oats, but you can let your child eat when he is old

The fish is "neutral." Add a slice of ginger to the porridge to eliminate the smell of fish. Check carefully that the bones are removed. Not use if your baby has a cold because it produces more phlegm. Salmon and cod are too rich in omega therefore not suitable for less than 1 year.

scallops Dry, bile Ikan (anchovies) and oysters are very salty, it should be used only once or twice a month. To remove excess salt, soak in milk for about 20 minutes before use.

It is preferable not to use ground beef, because you do not want baby to eat too much meat at this age. The meat is very tough in texture may make it difficult for the baby to swallow. Eating meat can also be too lead to intestinal worms. The reason the use of meat is to extract the protein and add taste to the porridge. When the baby is older than the intensification of meat and mashed with a spoon before giving it to him. Do not add salt as too much salt can cause kidney problems. Some people add sesame oil, but it can make the porridge "heaty 'if used too often.

Vegetables

Root vegetables are used to add bulk and fiber from oats. It should be finely grated

Pope – only half of the potato

Batata is very useful if your baby is constipated

Carrots should not be used more than 2 times week, because it can make your baby's skin yellow

Green leafy vegetables

Use only the leaves, which must be very finely cut. I prefer to buy the variety "baby" as they are thinner and easier to digest for babies

leaves or gow gei Boxthorn are rich in carotene.

The spinach or cabbage is very rich in iron as berries can be used to improve view

Broccoli / cauliflower – use only the florets and finely chopped

Water cress is cooling so it can be neutralized with chicken or add red dates

Tomatoes should be finely chopped. You can remove the skin by putting on the flame

long beans / French beans should be chopped finely

Try using a variety of foods your child there used to it quickly and easily. I always combine fish or meat with vegetables and other root vegetables in oats. It also offers a variety tastes and your child will not become fussy food.

Food unfit for use until your baby is 1 year.

If one or both parents have a family history of allergies, asthma or eczema that food would be better to delay the age of 2-3 years.

• Eggs have too many allergens, particularly in the egg. Start with the yellow and made attention to allergic reactions when introduced eggs to your child.

Honey can harbor spores • Clostridium botulinum, which causes botulism

• Citrus fruits and juices can cause an allergic reaction, especially if allergies in your family. Do not give sweet juices from a bottle because it leads to early decay.

• Peanut butter – Peanuts are highly allergenic. Consistency thick and sticky, it can be difficult for the baby to swallow.

• Crustaceans are considered toxic and if are given too early can cause allergies. It no hurry to introduce these foods.

• Kai lan / cabbage – the leaves are too fibrous and difficult to distribute to digest

• Nuts or anything that is difficult and is not easily dissolved. A young child does not chew the nuts and I have seen too many cases of nuts in the lungs, leading to the child with a portion of the lung removed or die by suffocation.

Signs of an allergic reaction or to bad food include vomiting, diarrhea, rash, swelling, abdominal pain, cough, irritability, excessive gas, swelling of the stomach, hives, itching and runny nose. Consult your pediatrician if your baby needs medicine to treat the reaction. Shortness of breath and wheezing are more serious reactions if you take your baby to your pediatrician immediately. Symptoms usually appear within hours of meals.

10 months later, you can start offering other types of foods like noodles, but it must be chopped finely so that the baby will not choke. If the noodles are salty, rinse with boiled water before cut. You can also offer bread and sliced cheese, but make sure they are cut into small pieces so they do not become a danger suffocation. Initially, you have to feed the baby, but you can start teaching the same food so that he could do when it is 1 year. Some children is as a duck to water, but some are lazy and do not even try. Do not worry because the objective this exercise is to give the child a chance to develop their skills, not to force them to do things against their will.

Coverage

Once your child may feel well enough you can begin to put in a high chair for your meals. This contributes to the discipline, sitting on a chair for meals.

Personally, I think it is better to use a high chair without supporting your feet, because there will be no room for the baby and begin to move into. They will not stay long for what is good for your feet hanging by a time. In fact, babies really like to swing their feet while sitting in the chair.

If you think your baby needs a tray, then the best thing is that the plateau is Removable not hit it with what you have to put on the baby's head. In fact, you do not need a tray to the presidency can be pushed to the dinner table for the child can eat at the table. Chairs should have the belt so that you can attach the baby is also starting to try to go out when you get up.

If your room is not large booster chair will be ideal because the strap on one of the chairs in your dining room. I love this chair, which is portable and is ideal for eating in a restaurant and I do not know what kind of chairs supply of restaurants. It is very lightweight and washable.

You should let your child sit with you at the table during meals to learn to eat the table. It is easier for him to learn by watching what you eat and he had the habit of eating at the table instead of running around the following with behind him. Let sit at the table also helps to promote bonding of the family.

A little advice: never make faces food in front of your child, regardless of the terrible she can see or smell you. Make it so often imitated and may become a picky eater.

Try not to your children too much candy before 2 years.

A little tip: when you decide to give your child candy than ever, you see the original packaging. I always transfer to a bowl of candy and Mary does not recognize the candy when we go shopping so you do not require a candy box. Instead, you asked for their candy in the section containing plastic and when I show the empty containers are very happy to forget the candy.

Do not let your child eats alone in the car. Better yet, do not let your child eat in the car all the crumbs attract ants and cockroaches if not withdrawn immediately. If your child hunger stop is a designated rest area.
