The dangers of a raw food or Vegan Diet
In this article, Dr. Sheridan frankly shares Jameth traps of a raw food or vegan diet.
Renegade Roundtable with Dr. Jameth Sheridan. Mr. Sheridan is a naturopath and nutritional consultant. He and his wife Kim is co-author of "Uncooking with Jameth and Kim and co-owner and operator of the Force nutritional health.
Kevin: So you've been in this field for 23 years. What are some pitfalls to do with raw food or vegan diet?
Jameth: I think the number one pitfall suffers from a food oil, my 23 years of experience in raw foods with tens of thousands of people are innumerable, is if you're a person normal, eating normal food, and for example, they are sick and will immediately and premiums that fit well, I think it ultimately fails. Because I see people when they "fall off the wagon" so to say, hard to fall and get back to what he started. You will eat, for example, a frozen pizza vegetarian, or a regular pizza, broccoli and cauliflower fruits and shoots and flax seed, and real food that are completely different types of food. Kevin: So, some of the deficiencies, with raw foods are, perhaps …
Jameth: I do saying that they are widespread, I want to make sure that is clear. I have met more than 20 years away from home first, in most cases were the result of the scheme, and seem to be healthy and vibrant in excellent condition, and I have no interest in trying to change your diet at all. I want to live optimally and creatures in the world live in the best and the planet too. To eat as many calories, you actually have played a couple of cases of shoots broccoli to get enough protein – and you get enough protein in this case. But broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable, and I love cruciferous vegetables to detoxify the liver, its benefits against cancer and have a certain hormone that balances the benefits. They are food phenomenal. But raw broccoli or raw crucifers in a lot, is very, very difficult to continue. It is difficult to treat. Thus, in such cases I have seen, if people go to the legume family, should not be soy. Soybean is one of hundreds of different legumes. If you do no soy for any reason, just do not eat – not necessary. Lentils, mung beans, adzuki beans, things like that. Now I can make these premiums, but it is ironic that one reason that soy is charged between raw food community is that research shows that soy is very difficult to believe digest. It has enzymes and proteins and other inhibitors that are it is difficult to treat and difficult to cultivate, but then soybeans are cousins.
